Meet the Founder of Jaymac
Our Founder's Story
My journey in tailoring began watching my mother sew to provide for our family. Unable to continue formal education, I committed myself to the craft, working across companies, learning to sew a wide variety of garments, then spending years in Botswana alongside ten talented designers where we shared knowledge and shaped each other's skills.
When I moved to South Africa I invested in machines, built the workshop, and never stopped pushing forward. Today, Jaymac is built on craftsmanship, quality, and a passion for helping people look and feel their best.
The name carries my heart: Jay from my son Jayden, Ma from my son Malachite, and C from our family name, Chikomo.
